Yerba Buena: We're about a week out from the debut of the first restaurant proper in Yerba Buena Lane's upcoming restaurant extravaganza, and barring a last-minute comeback by the delayed Press Club, it looks like Amber India will take the race. It's currently slated for a grand opening next Saturday, June 21. The interior is just about done; artwork, mirrors, plush banquettes are all installed, though when we stopped by earlier this week, the furniture had yet to arrive. The space—reminiscent of the South Bay locations—is divided in several rooms on a few levels, including the nifty (if a bit trendy) bar/lounge area above.
