Speaking of the Ferry Building and markets, San Jose is the latest city (see: Napa, Oakland) to decide that it too wants a version of the food haven: "The city council will decide today whether to enter exclusive negotiations with McEnery and developer Barry Swenson to create an 'urban market' full of retail stores, restaurants and snazzy paseos.
