In Jack London Square, the Joie de Vivre-Joey Altman project that will replace Jack's Bistro will be called Miss Pearl's Jam House and will be a reinterpretation of Altman's San Francisco restaurant from the '80s: "The 8,000-square-foot space will be transformed into the fictitious Miss Pearl's own home. Joie de Vivre envisions 'an aging but elegant mansion that might be found in the islands.' It will be a deliberate mishmash of furniture, knickknacks and vibrant colors." [CCT]
