With Brix reopening next Monday as 25º Brix, the MIJ takes a long look at the facelift—complete with a new garden and orchard—put on by Two's David Gingrass and the Kelleher family: "'Brix needed a new concept," says [Valerie] Herzog, spokesperson for the family. "I'm so excited about what it's going to look like. The decor will be more rural contemporary, not urban. We'll be able to serve food that's grown right here' ... The renewed focus is on farm-to-table dining, she says, with a Provencal-inspired French feeling and the overall feeling of a modern, urban farmhouse." [MIJ]
