North Beach: Last time we checked in with the happenings at the Washbag, we finally witnessed signs of life, and wondered what—if anything—would be uprooted. Well, a spot check this week reveals that the floors, banquettes and even some walls have been taken out, and it looks like there's some sort of remodeling afoot. Plenty of rubble piles are within, so we're going to go ahead and suggest that the deal isn't as simple as turning over the key to the new regime.
