Bauer Chronicles

A 63-year-old diner writes in to Mr. Bauer to complain about bar chairs that are too high and uncomfortable, and a meal where "everything below [the] waist was either numb or aching" (insert impotence joke here). MB's euphemistic response: "Bar chairs have a certain look and feel that does indeed appeal to a younger crowd, who may have different sensibilities than their aunts, uncles and parents ... It also helps to promote a more boisterous ambience." [BauerBlog]
