Things that might put a damper on your dinner: "Officers responded to the 600 block of Post Street at 7:30 p.m. June 19, where a witness said a man went into two restaurants and ate off customers' plates. Officers detained a 42-year-old San Jose man and found that he was on active parole. He was booked on suspicion of being drunk in public and for a parole violation." Those San Jose ruffians. [SFE]
