Pre-Plywood Special: Inside Michael Mina's RN74

New, 1 comment

SoMa: It's been a while since we've discussed that whole condo dining trend due to hit in late '08/early '09, but Eater Operatives were fortunate enough to grab an exclusive sneak peek inside RN74, Michael Mina's endeavor in the Millennium Tower. The 4,700-square-foot space—which you'll recall is being designed by hotshot NYC firm AvroKO—is in the throes of construction, but the shell is very much there there. The restaurant will occupy the space on the corner of Mission and Fremont Beale, with seating spilling out into the building's "atrium" in the middle of the block. There will be an open (show) kitchen, and on a level exclusive for tower residents, a separate dining room and bar. More tour tidbits in the gallery above, but potential restaurateurs might want to note that there's a second space there that could potentially be a restaurant. Mid 2009 is the ETA.
