For the rest of the Wednesdays in August, the Chron will be listing 20 local chefs considered visionaries. To be sure, it's a definite puff piece, a collection of established Bauer faves with lines like "Inspires others to follow their heart." But with that said, it is almost like a local chef hall of fame, a sort of big brother for the Rising Star series.
