Yerba Buena: Press Club continues to be weighed down by red tape and it's too early to tell if Amber India is a success or a flop (your votes here), but just on down the promenade, Tropisueno has begun work next door to Schoggi. As you can see, it's going to be a restaurant/tequila bar of the Mexican ilk, complete with mole and Jaliscan seafood. Fall is the due date, though inside, it's still very raw. In its incipient form, the space isn't a great one—low ceilings, 1,500 2,842 square feet—but the name sure is fun to say. Tropisueno.
