Russian Hill: Well well well. Just when you thought that the economy might be impeding the frozen yogurt craze, Tuttimelon reveals that it is trying to open its third San Francisco shop. The location—2125 Polk Street—is one of the only pedestrian-heavy neighborhoods of the city that has been immune to the trend thus far, but we suppose it was only a matter of time before Russian Hill was claimed. Froyo is, after all, the ideal complement to crispy tacos. It's not a given though, as Tuttimelon will go before the Planning Commission on September 4th to try to swing a Conditional Use permit. And as we've seen elsewhere, those aren't always a given.
