As we so often do at the end of the week, let's take a look back at the past week at our sister site and friendly neighborhood blog, Curbed.
1) With Stanley Saitowitz's Congregation Beth Sholom (pictured above, via Natoma) being the subject of debate, the aesthetics of the Richmond got some attention this week. Some neighbors hate the "inverse half-pipe," but it's already racking up design awards.
2) See, there is some good in the world ... or is there?
3) A developer threatened Japantown's (seemingly-weekly) festivals, but then backed down. That was close. Oh, and insert required Japantown-Benihana joke here.
