EaterWire: Lundberg (Maybe) Redoing Myth, Foggy Bridge at Outside Lands, Taste of the Nation, More!

JACKSON SQUARE—Until we get confirmation, we're going to file this in the Myth rumor category, but it could be a fun one if it turns out to be true: "Quince owners have more than tentatively chosen Lundberg Design (of Slanted Door, Out the Door and Distillery 209 fame), to update the space for their vibe. The space was not so long ago a James Beard award winner for Best restaurant design when Mark Cavagnero Assoc. renovated the space for MC2. Michael Guthrie did the Myth design, and it seems most of that will be peeled back." [EaterWire]

GOLDEN GATE PARK—Surely you've heard that this weekend is Outside Lands, and now comes word that Foggy Bridge Winery—the Presidio winery due in '09—will premiere its first wine releases at the festival. The open-air Foggy Bridge Canteen will offer wine by the glass, plus food by Hog Island Oysters, Fatted Calf and Cowgirl Creamery. As if Radiohead and co. weren't reason enough. [EaterWire]

NAPA—Unsurprisingly, the stars will be out for Taste of the Nation next Monday: "A golf tournament is followed by a grand tasting with over 30 restaurants and wineries, and a live and silent auction. Joining Silverado Resort’s Chef Peter Pahk are Cole’s Chop House, Martini House, Meadowood, Go Fish, Carneros Inn, Brix, N.V., Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, Google Café 150, Julia’s Kitchen ... " The list, it goes on. $100 gets you into the tasting. [NVR]

SAUSALITO—Don't look now, but Poggio is throwing a nice little festival next month: "The first Festa di Mozzarella Fresca will be held from September 9-13 at Poggio in Sausalito. It's a natural outgrowth of the annual tradition of making fresh mozzarella that Chef Peter McNee practices three times a day in the early weeks of fall." [SF Weekly]
