A branch of Boudin opened in Stockton, and we're thinking people in Stockton really like sourdough, don't have much to do, and/or will go to great measures for free food: "When the doors opened at 9 a.m., the first customers were Stockton sisters Tammy Gerolaga and April Hill. They had been waiting in line for 24 hours. Gerolaga and Hill led a parade of 100 people who had waited all night as part of a Boudin grand-opening promotion. The first 100 customers will receive a free loaf of sourdough bread every day for a year." [The Record]
