Bonus TacoWire: Nick's to Take Entire Rouge Space

Russian Hill: Not only is Nick Fasanella opening up his own taco joint in the Sunset, but the original Nick's Crispy Tacos on Broadway and Polk (which Fasanella is no longer affiliated with; there's a court history there) will be taking over the entire space that it currently shares with nightclub Rouge. The shift and subsequent renovation probably won't happen until early October, when Rouge will reportedly shutter; at that point, expect an expanded menu, longer hours and tequila. They're still unsure as to whether they will stay quick-service, but with the Rouge liquor license in hand, cocktail servers will be involved. And since the upcoming Sunset branch is technically unrelated, they shan't be pleased if the same name is used. [EaterWire]
