BREAKING EaterWire: Rubicon Closure Confirmed

FINANCIAL DISTRICT—About two weeks ago, we shared some heavy rumblings that the shutter might soon be descending upon the 14-year-old Rubicon, and now we have confirmation from the restaurant itself. Rubicon will close next Monday for an "indefinite amount of time," meaning that the Myriad empire will be limited to one coast for the time being. Take it as you will, but the reason given by the restaurant for the closure is the following: because of some structural issues, the building is in need of a retrofit, hence the hiatus of indeterminate length.
