The thing about this whole Slow Food business is that it's so incredibly hard to digest for myriad factors: the many positive aspects involved, the many negative ones, the hard-to-define ones, the confused ones, the political ones, etc, etc. But in the September issue of San Francisco Magazine, John Birdsall provides a thoughtful overview/analysis of the entire situation, with all the usual suspects chiming in and then some.
