Go-Go Contigo

2008_09_contigoply.jpgChef/restaurateur/blogger Brett Emerson continues to track the progress of his solo Noe Valley dream project at 1320 Castro. The latest amenity to hit Contigo—which we hear has revealed its facade—is reclaimed (non-local?) oak from the East Coast: "It was salvaged from an old barn in Connecticut ... When I told my architect I wanted the space to look like a cross between a barn and a loft, I didn't know he would take me so literally. Adds new meaning to the term 'farm to table.'" [IPOS]
