The October issue of San Francisco Magazine is online, and with it, Josh Sens' piece on Anchor & Hope. Not entirely unlike its big sisters Town Hall and Salt House, in the end, the restaurant's soul and pedigree offset any shortcomings: "...when you tally the intangibles, Anchor & Hope winds up on the winning side ... A lot of thought and heart went into Anchor & Hope, the upshot being that you don't have to wonder what you'll be getting: a well-run dining room and a solid menu." [SFM]
