Union Street Restaurants

2008_09_union.jpgAs expected, the Planning Commission approved legislation that would allow five new restaurants to open on Union Street. The proposal contains clauses meant to prevent new eateries from becoming more of those fratastic "party spots" feared by Cow Hollow residents: "...liquor licenses will only be permitted as long as seating in the bar area accounts for no more than 20 percent of the business and the eateries would have to close by midnight." The bill is en route to the Board of Supes. [SFE, previously]
