With MB still away, Amanda Gold takes the opportunity to mingle with the tuxedo-laden Nob Hill class at Le Club. The venue is entirely odd and full of hits and misses, but still polished enough for 2.5 positive stars, one lobster pot pie rave and a call for attention: "It's a shame, however, that more haven't discovered Le Club's potential as a restaurant. Though dishes are pricey and some preparations suffer, there's still plenty that both impresses and satisfies. The restaurant is obviously still trying to define itself, but given the formality of the space, the menu and style seem to fit." [Chron]
