Redwood City: The latest in the increasingly-long line of Bay Area gastropub announcements this summer is Martins West. The project by Michael Dotson and Moira Beveridge (both late of Sens) was revealed last week, and now a Peninsula correspondent sends along a sneak peek at the Alhambra Theater space as it currently stands. As you can see, a complete build-out is necessary (though they're keeping the exposed brick and big columns), but the good news is that we have on good authority that there will actually be beer on tap, including cask ales (imagine that, in a gastropub). Early '09 is the early ETA.
