Only nine months or so in, Cafe Maritime's East Bay offshoot Maritime East has already closed. The finale was Friday night, and in retrospect, giving away free pizzas this summer was probably a pretty clear sign that things weren't going so well for Maritime over on Telegraph Avenue. To make matters worse, let's not forget that the clock is still ticking for the original Cafe Maritime on Lombard as well. [ShutterWire]
