Lou's to Close, Champion Pizza Makers En Route?

North Beach: Hot off the EaterWire comes the news that the end could quite possibly be very near (as in, tomorrow) for the months-old Lou's at the Square. Now, the space on the corner of Washington Square Park has already seen its fair share of turnover since La Felce left, but the bigger news here might be the strong rumblings about the next prospective tenants: two fellows by the names of Tony Gemignani and Bruno Di Fabio. The renowned pizza experts have long been rumored to be testing the local waters for their upcoming project, a pizzeria/pizza school. Not only is Gemignani a supposed world pizza champion, but he does ridiculous things like this on the Food Network. Cheesy theatrics aside, we do hear that their pizzas are legit.
