Shutter Coda: Mecca Owners Pursuing "All Opportunities"

The Castro: Though most parties remain tight-lipped about the state of Mecca after it suddenly shuttered last week, owners of the onetime three-star restaurant, have released an official statement of sorts:

Mecca restaurant closed on January 22, 2009, as a result of the recent, very challenging business climate. CVP Holdings, Inc., Mecca's owners, intends to pursue all opportunities, which include but are not limited to the restaurant's restructuring and reopening or its sale. More information will be forthcoming.
In other words, Mecca may (or may not) reopen. Furthermore, according to a piece in today's BAR, an anonymous spokeswoman—so mysterious, no?—says a sale is "possibly in negotiations," but again, nothing is certain.
