Churrascaria Moving Into Long-Vacant Valencia Space

New, 5 comments

The Mission: With the likes of Dynamo, Humphry Slocombe, Phat Philly and the like, the 24th Street area has been abuzz, but the micro-neighborhood isn't done yet. The derelict auto shop at 1270 Valencia (between 23rd and 24th) will be undergoing a remodel that will see the space be converted into two retail spaces and an Argentinian-style churrascaria (the DBA is actually Churrascaria; no word if that's the official name though). Sources tell us that the very optimistic timetable would see a restaurant debut sometime this summer, but since an extensive revamp is required (see details above), heavy odds are that it will take longer than that.
