Frisee Replacement Panam Hits the Castro Next Wednesday

The old Frisee space, dark since December, will finally return next week as Panam. Owners Mickael Azoulay and Laurent Guillaume (also Chouquet's and Blush) announced yesterday that they are planning on opening their new project next Wednesday, October 21st. More interesting are their plans for the space, which will be a French bistro by day, and a "hip lounge" by night, complete with VIP club stuff and everything. And best of all, it's not just French cuisine or fusion cuisine or French fusion cuisine, but neo-French fusion cuisine. Brace.
