The fate of the San Francisco branch of NYC's famed Tavern on the Green remains up in the air (the LeRoy family has bigger problems at the moment). However, GlobeSt is now reporting that the 43,000-square-foot Tavern on the Metreon was never a done deal in the first place: "[Tavern] never made a firm commitment to open at the Metreon and that such a commitment is now on indefinite hold as the restaurateur winds down its Central Park operation under Ch. 11."
