Urban Curry Joins Strip Club Row, Plus Bluestem and Froyo

New, 1 comment

Spot some fresh plywood on your block? Operators are standing by.

1) Broadway Strip: Oddly nestled in between the Broadway strip clubs, the violence-plagues shitshow clubs, and that weird wine bar, new signage for Urban Curry is up. Sounds extreme, right? It's a decent-sized space inside, with an open kitchen and everything. They'll do both Indian and Pakistani dishes. [PLYWOOD]

2) SoMa/FiDi: Down on Yerba Buena Lane, a tipster sends along an update of sorts from Bluestem, the steakhouse brasserie supposedly slated for a fall opening. However, a peek behind the exterior wrappings reveals that the construction hasn't exactly started on the interior, and the cavernous space remains very raw. [PLYWOOD]

3) Cow Hollow: Someone has finally claimed the old Jamba Juice space on the corner of Union and Buchanan ... that someone is another froyo shop. It's called Cultivé, and is currently seeking a conditional use permit from the city so it can move forward. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
