Sure, Alice Waters comes off as a stately, demure older lady nowadays, but once upon a time (the '70s), the Slow Food matron was quite the swinging lass. One friend remembers the early days of the landmark restaurant/sex den: "'One reason the story of Chez Panisse is so complex is that Alice was involved with so many of the men ...
