THE RICHMONDNamu is bringing the fried chicken bandwagon to the Bay, and is now offering Korean friend fried chicken (KFC, get it?) on its nightly menu. It's brined, fried and then tossed in special Korean sauce and served with loco moco gravy and chili sauce. [EaterWire]

THE MISSION—Kindly note that Cha Cha Cha is staunchly and officially a no-mariachi zone. [MM via SFist]

THE MISSION—Now that chef Chris Kronner is settling into his new digs at Bar Tartine, the restaurant will soon launch weekday breakfast. The plan is that later this month, Bar Tartine will offer breakfast from 8am to 11am, Wednesday-Friday. Think jars of the restaurant’s organic yogurt, Tartine-made English Muffins with with slow-cooked eggs and like. [EaterWire]

POLK GULCH—As seen in the Eater SF Flickr Pool, this weekend is the swan song for the current location of Polk Street's Lush Lounge. But don't worry: it's just moving down the street. [Flickr]

POPULATION CONTROL— Earlier today Eater National offered $25 to any food blog that would shutter forever. Big Apple Dining Guide accepted the challenge and closed down "in order to make way for stronger reporting of the food world." [Eater National]
