Shuttered Pink Space to be Reborn This Weekend as Som

Stealthily hiding behind the plywood at the old Pink nightclub space on 16th Street lies a project that—surprise!—is nearly complete. Pink closed back in January, but this coming weekend could very well see the soft opening of a new bar/nightclub concept called Som. Right next door to Bar Bambino, a peek inside reveals a good deal of exposed brick, an intricate glass/metal storefront, and even a wall of bottle racks. The soft opening period will last until the grand opening, which is currently slated for November 6.
