After nearly two years of red tape and construction, Cortland Avenue's Sandbox Bakery is finally just about ready to open. The husband-and-wife team is almost done with the permitting process, and they're aiming for a debut on November 15, at which point it will offer "San Francisco-style deli sandwiches and artisan savory baked items with a Japanese flair."
