Some kitchen action up at the Restaurant at Meadowood, where Christopher Kostow and company have recently brought aboard a shiny new pastry chef in Matthew Tinder. The talented Tinder has previously worked at notable places like Brick and Campton Place, the latter where he was Boris Portnoy's second-in-command.
The move caps off a big year up at Meadowood that has seen the restaurant renew its pair of Michelin stars and get Kostow named as one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs, and that's on top of last year's 3.5 Bauer stars. But back to Tinder: he's been in place a few weeks now, and new dessert dishes are expected to show up on the menu soon.
