Finally confirming what was already known, Bravo has officially "revealed" that this season's finale of Top Chef will indeed take place in Napa and initially feature four finalists. According to the announcement, the finale was filmed at—product placement alert!—the Rutherford Hill and Chimney Rock wineries. No word on what role, if any, the eliminated chefs, who were also in town (as pictured), will play in the finale.
In somewhat related news, the spoilers are well underway for the second season of Top Chef Masters, currently filming down in Los Angeles. On the list of possible suspects thus far: New York's Marcus Samuelsson, Houston's Monica Pope, Seattle's Thierry Rautureau, Miami's Carmen Gonzalez, and maybe, just maybe, Mr. Charlie Palmer.
