Star Chefs Align to Help Tibet at Annual Taste & Tribute

[Photos by Eduardo Solér, Solér Photography]

On Friday night, over 20 of the Bay Area's most notable chefs descended upon the Four Seasons for the ninth annual Taste & Tribute, benefiting the Tibetan Aid Project and its goal of rebuilding/preserving Tibet's cultural heritage. As in past years, the venerable Laurent Manrique—who happens to be a practicing Buddhist as well—led the way in what's become his pet passion project (all while rumors of his next stop were seasoned into the evening).

In addition to the aforementioned Manrique, here's the rest of the lineup of participating chefs/restaurants, all deserving of a tip of the cap: Preston Dishman, Viognier; Orlando Pagan, Silks; Bruce Hill, Bix/Picco; Liza Shaw, A16; Peter Armellino, Plumed Horse; Mark Dommen, One Market; Bruno Chemel, Chez TJ; Jennie Lorenzo, Fifth Floor; Gerald Hirigoyen, Bocadillos/Piperade; Jean-Pierre Moulle, Chez Panisse; David Barzirgan, Chez Papa Resto; Joseph Humphrey, Murray Circle; Khai Duong, Ana Mandara; Mark Richardson, Four Seasons; John Paul Carmona, Manresa; Gaetan Biesuz, Ritz Half Moon Bay; Elizabeth Falkner, Orson; Morgan Mueller, Jardiniere; Ben Cohn, Spruce; Dmithy Elperin, Village Pub.

In addition to the above shots by Eduardo Solér, more pretty photos can be enjoyed at Team Bunrab.
