On The Glory That Is Emilia's

2009_10_emiliasslice.jpgBerkeley's newest pizza destination gets its first print review, and echoing the snap judgments, it's another rave for Emilia's: "... clamshell-thin crust, rim an air-bubble shrine, breathing the manic perfume of überfresh bread. Fresh herbs, fresh mozzarella, red onion fresh if sliced microfinely and strewn so sparsely as to evade detection. The pizza version of meringue, it melts in your mouth." [EBX]
