Lingba to Close Next Week After Landlord Rent Increase

Sad news from Potrero Hill, where a hefty rent increase has led Lingba to close up shop. The last day for the trendy southeast Asian spot will be next Saturday, December 19, topping off a year of upheaval on Potrero that also saw Eliza's and Baraka go down. No word on chef/owner Cody Robertson's next step but sources at the restaurant say that this new development effectively kills the taqueria concept next door that got approved by the city last month.
