Laiola to Transform Completely Into Tacolicious

Hot off the wire is the news that come January 1, Laiola will be closing. In its stead, owner Joe Hargrave will open an entire restaurant concept dedicated to his Tacolicious venture, which has steadily gained steam since kicking off at the Ferry Building Thursday market this summer. The Laiola space will go dark for a month or so, get a new design and reopen as a new concept offering tacos, soups, ceviches, a cocktail program and maybe most crucially, lots of taco takeout options.
