For those wondering about the arrival date of Perbacco's "eno-trattoria" spinoff, Barbacco has hit a few snags. Suffice to say, it won't open today as Umberto Gibin, Staffan Terje and crew had previously hoped; the new ETA—always subject to change—is currently set at January 4. Kindly update your wall calendars. The good news here is threefold: 1) there's now a good chance the liquor license will come through in time, 2) they are twittering, and 3) the facade has been unveiled to be a delightful hue of deep red (burnt carnelian? dark scarlet?).
