With a New Year comes the need for fresh meat here at Eater SF HQ, so let the search begin. Are you an eager, perhaps college-age, person who happens to read—and maybe even like—Eater SF on a daily basis? If so, this opportunity may be for you. We're looking for interns with journalism in their blood to join in on the fun in 2010. Internship responsibilities may include but not be limited to (a) attending boring events/meetings and using your undeniable wit to make them sound interesting; (b) dashing to the scene of breaking news; (c) learning about the interwebs; and (d) undertaking painfully-thorough research projects. The compensation shall be zero dollars but may include libations (proper ID req'd), will definitely include glory, and will possibly include potential to grow into a paid job (see Eater National's Associate Editor Greg Morabito). Timing is very, very flexible. Interested go-getters should send an email to sf@eater.com with a brief description of yourself and your interest in the gig. No attachments, please. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you quickly. And friends, please pass this along to anyone who may be interested. Thanks.
