Rick Tramonto's Bay Area Projects Hit a Snag, For Now

Last week saw some heavy rumblings that Chicago star chef Rick Tramonto (Tru et al.) has been eying the Yountville space that was formerly the site of Napa Valley Grille. As it turns out, a deal was indeed in place for Tramonto to open two restaurants—one in Napa, one in San Francisco proper—but just recently, the deal fell through after months of planning.

That said, Tramonto is still looking to make a West Coast move ASAP, and he's currently seeking partners to make it happen, so interested folks should take note.
