Across the bridge in Berkeley, the Claremont Hotel has received a new restaurant with its recent renovation. In the space that used to house Jordan's, Meritage at the Claremont is a similar concept to the restaurants of the same name in Boston and New Orleans, with one defining factor being a menu that is broken down first by wine categories, then by food that pairs with said wine.
