EaterWire: Pot Pie Sundays at Mission Beach, Some Pizza Tracking, Beringer Restored

THE MISSION—The latest daily special from a local restaurant has ceremoniously arrived. Starting this weekend, Mission Beach Cafe will be offering Pot Pie Sundays. The idea stemmed from the popularity of the rabbit pot pie, and they will offer beef, duck, and vegetable versions as well. [EaterWire]

NORTH BEACH—A bit of plywood coda to end the week: following our North Beach Pizza update, a reader chimes in that March 1st is the tentative opening date. Also, there will be a separate entrance for walk up slices and to-go food. [EaterWire]

ST. HELENA—The restoration of the 124-year-old Rhine House at Beringer Vineyards has finally reached completion: "The project, launched in 2007, was a monumental, and comprehensive effort to renovate and preserve the 17-room mansion, built by Frederick Beringer as a replica of the family home of his youth on the Rhine River in Germany." Public tours are offered daily. [NVR]
