Oakland: The latest San Francisco restaurant personality to look across the Bay to open an offshoot is Daniel Olivella of Belden Place's B44. If everything falls into place, he's hoping that his new tapas project—called Bar Lata—will arrive in about a week or so, joining a still-growing Temescal neighborhood dining scene. The POS system was just installed a few days ago, and the menu will center around tapas (but will also have a few bigger plates). Thanks to our Oakland tipster for the juicy photo action above.
