SOMA—We already confirmed Blue Bottle's new Oakland base in the Jack London District, and tomorrow's Scoop has confirmed the other rumor that we floated last week surrounding a Blue Bottle outpost in MoMA. And it's going to be good: "Blue Bottle will open a coffee bar in the new sculpture garden atop the parking garage at SFMOMA ... Look for the coffee bar to open in June." [Scoop, previously]

SAN FRANCISCO—The lineup for the 22nd Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala has been announced. As in years past, the gala benefits Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, and this year, it will take place Sunday, May 17 at Fort Mason's Festival Pavilion. The list of big name chefs participating is a monster one; headed by Nancy Oakes, participants include Mourad Lahlou, Daniel Patterson, Hubert Keller, Michael Mina, Sean O'Brien and dozens more. More info on the official site. [EaterWire]

SOMA—Off the recession special wire, per City Dish: "District is now offering $1 oysters during their 4-6pm Mon-Fri happy hour. Also, they are continuing the happy hour into the weekend on Saturdays 5-7pm!" [City Dish]
