The Castro: It's highly possible that the Patio Cafe holds the title for the longest ongoing construction job in the city, but progress continues to be evident on Castro Street. Though the interior remains a ways away, owner Les Natali is not being shy about reintroducing the cafe to the neighborhood, as evidenced by the rather aggressive signage seen above ... and from blocks away in every direction. We thought the neon sign that's been inexplicably lit for the last decade was just fine though.
