Eater Sneak Peek: 54 Mint

New, 3 comments

Mint Plaza: The charming Euro you see above is none other than 54 Mint, the latest eatery ready to debut in Mint Plaza. It's a restaurant/wine bar from Alberto Avalle, best known from his days at New York's lauded Il Buco. Though 54 Mint encompasses two stories—Thrillist has a shot of the downstairs dining area—it's a small, sleek space, so there's a definite NYC vibe at work (also: hanging meat). As for the opening date, thanks to a tip from the Appeal, it seems as though the formal debut is looking like next Monday or Tuesday. Once dinner gets underway, lunch will follow, likely starting on June 1st.
