Back at the reborn Washington Square Bar & Grill, Bauerocity discovers that duck fat fries aside, the kitchen is still trying to find its way, but in a place where food plays second fiddle anyway, more distressing are the service hiccups: "On one visit the waiter forgot to tell us about the daily specials. Repeatedly we were given the wrong dishes. One time the server brought our appetizers to another table. This type of inexperienced service won't generate loyalty from the seasoned regulars who frequented the place." Final grade: 1.5 stars for the institution. [Chron]
