On the same week that kabobs are voted to be one of the most glaring absences in the San Francisco street food dining scene, we're sad to bring the news that Polk Street's De Afghanan Kabob House has gone dark. The owners found a buyer and proceeded to exit stage left without any notice; the revolving door space will reportedly reopen in about a month with a new, non-kabob concept. We think we know who we can blame for this one (kidding). [EaterWire]
